Jean-Paul Gaultier, Marilyn Manson, Pamela Anderson, Rachel Roberts, T.A.T.U, Barcelona F.C and Sara Montiel Added To The Glittering MTV Europe Music Awards 2002 Lineup

T.A.T.U & Las Ketchup Confirmed As Performers On The 'Countdown Show', With special guest presenters F.C. Barcelona
London / Barcelona 11th November 2002: Stars from the worlds of music, film and sport have been added to the celebrity linuep at MTV Europe Music Awards 2002, set to take place at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on 14 November 2002, it was announced today.

Avant-garde fashion icon and host of the 1995 MTV Europe Music Awards Jean-Paul Gaultier; controversial rock star Marilyn Manson; actress and worldwide sex symbol Pamela Anderson; Best Russian Act nominees T.A.T.U; actress, model and co-star of the eagerly awaited film 'Simone' Rachel Roberts; Spanish legend Sara Montiel complete the star-studded line up of celebrity guest presenters at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2002.

They join previously announced presenters Anastacia, The Calling, Esther Canadas, Holly Valance, Jade Jagger, Kelis, Kylie Minogue, Las Ketchup, Ms Dynamite, Nick Carter, Pharrell Williams from N*E*R*D, Pierce Brosnan, Ronan Keating, Rupert Everett, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Sugababes, Tiziano Ferro.

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2002 will feature live performances from some of the world's greatest artists, including Eminem, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Moby, Foo Fighters, Christina Aguilera, Royksopp, Coldplay, Enrique Iglesias, Pink, Wyclef Jean and Robbie Williams. Entertainment impresario Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs will host the show — which promises to be the biggest and boldest in the history of the awards.

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2002 Countdown Show will be broadcast live from Palau Sant Jordi prior to the 2002 Awards on 14 November. Hosted by a plethora of MTV presenters from across Europe including the infamous Deborah Hombres from MTV Spain, Abbie Eastwood from MTV UK & Ireland, MTV Italia's Victoria Cabello and MTV Europe's hottest new presenter Ina Geraldine, the show will capture the excitement of Barcelona as the 2002 Awards draws closer, and will feature interviews with the star performers, presenters and nominees as they arrive for the glittering ceremony.

The show will also feature live performances from Spanish pop sensations Las Ketchup and Best Russian Act nominees and rising stars T.A.T.U; a viewers' awards show; an exclusive guide to the city of Barcelona and a behind the scenes look at preparations at Palau Sant Jordi.

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2002 Countdown Show will air live on 14 November 2002 at 19:30 CET.
